The Hydrogen molecule (H2) is a safe natural antioxidant which selectively neutralizes free radicals - the cause of most diseases and premature aging. The most important characteristic of hydrogen water is its oxidation-reduction potential/redox potential (ORP). This is a parameter that allows to quantify its ability to oxidize (remove electrons) or reduce (to donate electrons). The addition of an electron is called reduction and the removal of it is called oxidation. The ORP value is measured in millivolts (mV) and can be positive or negative. Positive values mean that water is deficient in electrons and is an oxidizer. Negative values indicate that water has free electrons that it can donate and is a reducer.
